Vehicle tracking and location sharing

In order to keep you safe and enable us to locate you in the event of an emergency, accident, lockout, etc., we keep track of vehicles leased by Vertelo. We make every effort not to make your location or movements public unless it is required by personal, medical, or legal (recovery and insurance) requirements. Your location information will be restricted to the service provided by Vertelo. You and the vehicle’s location may be disclosed to insurance companies, the police, courts, tribunals, or other similar law enforcement agencies as part of our service in the course of an investigation, accident claim, theft or emergency assistance. Additionally, Vertelo receives information about each vehicle's location on its website only accessible by Vertelo. Vertelo shall have access to the you or the driver’s record, vehicle travelled history report pertaining to the ride/trip from all applicable entities and authorities.

Employment applications

We collect personal information from you if you apply for a job with Vertelo, this includes:

  • your name;

  • your current employer;

  • your contact details;

  • any information contained on your CV;

  • any ID documentation that you provide us; and

  • any other information you provide us as part of the recruitment process
